Modern typical Mallorcan style holiday villa with a large garden and swimming pool

This detached holiday villa is located in a rural area between the small village of Calonge and the lively beach resort of Cala D'Or. The well equipped villa was completed in 2014 and perfectly combines a rustic country-style with modern furnishings while keeping the typical Mallorcan architectural features of authentic stone construction. You will be greeted by an imposing building spread over two floors and offering a total living space of more than 585 m² with a friendly terracotta colour design. Yet those with a good eye for detail will immediately recognise that despite its traditional and typical Mallorcan features this is a modern and bright villa which is ideally suited to accommodate eight persons.

The covered terrace next to the villa offers dark rattan furniture with bright cushions. The large glass table provides space for eight persons on the shaded terrace. This is a perfect place to enjoy a barbecue, barbecue facilities are available. From the terrace it’s only a few steps to the generous swimming pool measuring 10 x 5 metres. Also next to the terrace, you will find a second swimming pool with an outdoor shower. This pool starts off really shallow making it ideal for children. The further you go into the pool, the deeper it gets (the deepest point is 1.80 m). The cottage is set on a 13,000 m² plot of land and although the garden surrounding the house has only recently been newly planted it offers lush greenery allowing you to enjoy beautiful views across the olive grows.

Not only does the villa enjoy a top modern interior design, it also provides a cosy place to spend time with the family. This comfortable atmosphere is further enhanced by the arched ceilings in the spacious living-/dining area with integrated open plan kitchen. The rooms also enjoy an open layout and are divided by walls with interior windows creating a sense of space and allowing for plenty of natural light. This is accentuated by the full length windows in the living area. The living area is furnished with a cream coloured corner sofa and LCD satellite television. The bright and modern kitchen with high gloss white lacquered doors and drawer fronts is located at the other end of the room and boasts a kitchen island with ceran cooktop, two glass cooking plates and an oven. The kitchen is fully equipped and offers among other things a large fridge complete with freezer compartment, a dishwasher, electric kettle, coffee machine and a microwave. The kitchen island also acts as an optical divider between the different areas of the room. Adjacent is the dining room with a large dining table and comfortable white high back chairs. Decorative elements such as a collection of bottles with green glass bulbs add to the modern and elegant house design. A staircase in the hallway along the living room leads to the first floor of the villa. Some of the four bright and friendly furnished bedrooms have direct access to the balcony which is located above the terrace. The rooms are furnished with comfortable beds equipped with wide mattresses of various sizes (2m long). The master bedroom has its own private bathroom with Italian design bathtub and shower device, wash basin and toilet. The additional two bathrooms which are shared by the other three bedrooms are equipped with either a bathtub or walk-in shower. The villa also has a guest toilet. Internet access is available via WLAN and upon request, a bed for a child and a high chair can be made available.

Shopping facilities are available in Calonge, Cala D'Or and Santanyi. The beaches of Cala D'Or and the other natural beaches are only a few kilometres away. The holiday villa is located between the small village of Calonge and the lively beach resort of Cala D'Or. Calonge is a small village enjoying a quiet location amid hilly countryside. Cala D'Or with its many bars, restaurants, prestigious marina and various small popular beaches offers a livelier alternative. Some of the quieter beaches are also within easy access, including among others Cala Mitjana and Cala Mondragó. Moreover, Mondrago is nestled into the 766-hectare Natural Park. “Parque de ses Fonts“ and “n'Alis s'Amarador“, the two largest bays in the park, are connected by way of a walking path.
