Il Torrione is a beautiful luxury villa between Lucca and Florence located in a central position just on top of the hill, in the town of Pescia just 10 km away from Lucca. Surrounded by the family’s olive grove in a private and stately area, it rises a few metres from one of the two Pescia’s ancient medieval towers and with a small private road it’s offering the possibility to walk down to the town centre. Villa il torrione is the perfect place for family reunion or for an holiday with your friends, right in the heart of one of the most amazing wine and art area in Tuscany.
An enchanting landscape will welcome on your arrival passing between the ancient walls and town’s villas and proceeding in to the short hilly road dotted with rosemary. A private automatic iron gate will help maintaining your privacy. The villa’s outside area is fully paved and fenced with small gates that will let you through the olive grave and the way to Pescia on foot. In an absolute relax environment you can enjoy the sunshine and spa facilities with a view on the medieval town. You can savor your meal match with local wine or a delicious dinner cooked for you by a private chef in the outdoor spaces.
Two glass doors will lead you in to the main room where a beautiful crystal table and fireplace will wait you for great aperitif or dinners when the weather becomes a bit chilly. A comfortable kitchen will allow you to cook your meals all together in happiness. The villa has four bedrooms: a double room with en-suite bathroom is on the ground floor along with a single room with its on bathroom next to it; two more double rooms with sharing bathroom are situated on the first floor and each room has access to the balcony where you can enjoy the view.
You will only be 20 minutes away from Lucca, while Florence, Siena, Pisa, San Gimignano and Cinque terre are 35 and 60 minutes drive giving you the option of a day trip to enjoy the spectacular Tuscany. At 5km from the house there is an untouched area of beauty also known as the "Svizzera pesciatina"”, full of ancient castles and tiny picturesque villages.
