The place Rattelvitz, which consists solely of the detached farmhouse, is located in the middle of the natural park MV. The estate is located in the west of the island, the quieter part, in the middle of the nature reserve "Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft", away from the noise and bustle. The estate is located in the retreat area of deer and small game and so it happens again and again that you can observe animals on the way to the Bodden in the immediate vicinity. Let yourself be pampered with silence, enjoy the short distance (700m) to the Baltic Sea Bodden, the unobstructed view over the water to Ummanz and the lighthouses of Hiddensee.

The estate, which has been owned by the family since 1938 and expropriated in 1960, was returned to the descendants of the landlord's grandfather, Heinrich Haupt, in the course of the retransfer back to 1990. During the refurbishment, which took place until mid-2005, they placed special emphasis on the naturalness and preservation of building materials in their choice of materials. Old clay walls, wooden floorboards, bricks, silicate paints, old furniture and porcelain electrics from the period around 1900, combined with modern comfort to give you a historic and pleasant ambience.

The monument-protected manor house is located in the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park and offers relaxation as well as wellness with saunas and a sunbed.

The large park-like garden (15.000m ²) around the estate offers plenty of space for sunbathing and relaxing. Read a good book outside in the garden or just enjoy the nature around you and let your mind wander.
On warm summer days you can have breakfast or a barbecue in your private patio in a private atmosphere. Due to the almost missing car traffic, the entire terrain is very well suited for all ages of children. In the large garden and on the climbing frame with swing and sandpit your children can let off steam and explore the surroundings.
Larger children play football on the north side or are in the trampoline. Smaller children play on the south side, always in the field of vision of the parents from the outside seats. If the weather is not so sunny then it goes into the play barn for all ages or in the large sauna in the coach house, with relaxation room, sauna, solarium and reading area, where you will find under> 1,000 books certainly something suitable.

3 km from Rattelvitz is the village of Gingst with shops and restaurants. Gingst has retained its historical character through its once medieval activities. Not only the round marketplace with its houses, but also the craft shops still make the village as a former center of crafts on Rügen recognize.

There is a beautiful long white sand beach waiting for you, which is the ideal destination on a warm summer's day. In some km from Rattelvitz, you have the opportunity to ride horses.
Two golf courses, each with 36 holes, reachable in 30 - 60min or discounts practice directly in front of the farmhouse. Rattelvitzer Baltic Sea Bodden borders our land, swimming area on Ummanz island in 3 kilometers.

A holiday apartment in a manor house on Rügen

This apartment is the middle one of three exclusive apartments in a manor house in Gingst – Rattelvitz on Rügen. The apartment has a gallery. It is accessed up stairs within the manor house.

The apartment features both antique and modern furnishing. The special atmosphere and the attention to detail will delight you. The normal occupancy of the apartment is four people, but supplementary beds can be requested. Children are welcome.

It provides generous rooms and plenty of daylight, and an open gallery flooded with light, ensuring a sense of well-being. There is no mainline phone, but there is modern technology in the form of wireless Internet access, a radio and satellite TV. The living room has seating and the kitchen space includes a stove, coffee machine, fridge, microwave and dishwasher, as well as a dining space. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed. The bathrooms have an exclusive white designer bath and there is a sauna in the annex, which you can enjoy on cool evenings. On warm summer days you can enjoy grilling in the outdoor seating area. Pets are not allowed.
