Three holiday apartments on a former farmstead with a shared pool, in a rural location on the edge of the Falaise area
These three holiday apartments are on a two-hectare plot of land on the edge of an area called Falaise, in a charming little village. The former farmstead with several buildings from the year 1800 has been restored by the owners, who live in the main house, with attention to detail. This has resulted in three individual holiday apartments, with an accomplished mixture of tradition and modernity giving them a special charm.
The three apartments share the garden with a heated pool with a shower, so you can enjoy a refreshing splash of cool water from above. Sun loungers are provided by the pool. You can also be table tennis.
The village is small, but just a short distance from the farm you can find a bar and a grocery shop where you can buy fresh bread and baguette. There are other shops and restaurants six kilometres away. You can go on beautiful walks on the paths around the village or go cycling. The old village houses, the castle and the church are worth seeing.
Holiday apartment with a terrace
This separate holiday apartment is on the first floor of the main house. It is accessed via external stone stairs. Traditional materials and a modern design have been combined knowledgeably. The 70m² of living space can accommodate six people comfortably. There is a living and dining room. The modern, separate, built-in kitchen is fully-equipped. The bathroom has a bath and shower. The WC is separate. The big parents‘ bedroom provides ample space, a comfortable double bed and a supplementary single bed, as well as a sitting area with a TV and a washroom. The second bedroom has two single beds (90cm wide) and a TV. There is also a single bedroom. Bookworms will be delighted with the library in the hallway that leads to the bedrooms. A cot and a highchair can be provided free of charge on request.
In front of the house, at ground level, there is a furnished sitting area with a grill, where you can enjoy breakfast, grill in the evenings or sit and relax together and enjoy a glass of wine.
