Villa Dream House is a great place to take a deep breath if the hot days on the beaches around Cala Ratjada get too much for you. At the same time, it offers an attractive range of excursions right on the doorstep. You could say living here in Sa Pedruscada is a breeze, from the easy drive along the MA-15 to the easy walking access to shops, cafés and restaurants. With neighbouring houses on either side, the two-storey villa extends to a small garden with an oval pool where you can cool off in between. Well shaded by a canopy, you can comfortably pull the garden furniture right up to the edge of the pool so that you can keep an eye on the youngest bathers (please note that the pool is 1.5 metres deep). There is also a brick barbecue at the side of the house and a garden swing to pass the time while you wait for the fire to be lit. From the upstairs balcony terrace, you can look through the trees and see the sea shimmering nearby (the outside staircase visible in the pictures is no longer in use).

Highly polished floors and a few bells and whistles - simply a place to take a deep breath and relax. The open-plan entrance area, a rustic fitted kitchen with long worktops and views to the outside and the living/dining area are connected in a very open-plan layout that offers plenty of freedom of movement. There is also a bathroom with shower on the ground floor, which can be used by all guests. Upstairs are the three bedrooms and a lovingly furnished children's room with a pull-out bed. This floor is dominated by the master suite, which leaves nothing to be desired with a soft double bed, a walk-in wardrobe and its own marble bathroom with shower and corner bath. The balcony terrace is also yours, and in summer you can easily sleep with the door open and use the natural air conditioning. Two further double bedrooms are connected by a door; the one further back has its own bathroom, which can be used by the occupants of both rooms, and also has a kitchenette for a little independence.

The old harbour of Sa Pedruscada with its jetty and small, colourful fishermen's houses is located on the quiet stretch of coast to the south of Cala Ratjada. You can go snorkelling in the sea here, but it's quite rocky, so it's better to head for the long sandy beach of Son Moll or the conifer-lined Font de Sa Cala bay if you want to go swimming or lie in the sun. And the best thing about it is that you can leave your car on the street and walk along the promenade. Cala Ratjada, the shining bay, has a 19th century lighthouse from which you can see as far as Mallorca's sister island Menorca on clearer days. The resort is also a popular party destination. On the other side, the narrow, cobbled streets of Capdepera await your visit to see the Plaça de l'Orient and the town's well-preserved castle. And on the Sa Torre Cega estate, the March family has created a world-class paradise where sculptures blend in perfectly with the natural surroundings. If that doesn't sound like a dream... In the quiet little harbour community of Sa Pedruscada, just 2 km by car from the bustling resort of Cala Ratjada and 5 km from the narrow streets of Capdepera, Villa Dream House could be just what you're looking for. Both towns have plenty of shops and restaurants and are within walking distance of each other. There is also a Lidl just 1.5 km away on an extension of the MA-15 motorway. The nearest beach is the beautiful Cala Son Moll - just leave the car at the villa. And if you like to play golf, you can be on the green in Capdepera in just 10 minutes by car.
