The house is located only 1.1 km from the charming Lohals harbor, where many fishing boats and pleasure boats dock and leave. During the summer months there are music and dance events and last but not least the famous "Frikadellenfest" in July. The largest town on the island, Rudkøbing, is located about 30 km from the vacation home. Rudkøbing offers many beautiful houses and alleys from old times, but you can also experience the works of many contemporary artists here, in the form of paintings, ceramics and sculptures. Especially in summer, the shopping street is very busy and offers great shopping experiences as well as culinary delights.
